ÖSYM President Bayram Ali Ersoy held a press conference regarding the results of the 2024-YKS.
Ersoy announced that the first phase of the exciting wait, which began with the completion of YKS, ended today.
Ersoy said that the 2024-YKS results, which were eagerly awaited by more than three million candidates, have been announced, and candidates can find out the results on the ÖSYM website.

Five candidates from Istanbul took first place
ÖSYM President Ersoy said after the results were announced that the likely winner was clear.
Ersoy congratulated the candidates for demonstrating great perseverance and hard work in achieving this success, stressing that it is impossible to achieve success alone.
“I would like to thank the mothers and fathers who gave our champions their utmost support and were always with them, as well as the teachers who did not leave them alone in this process and guided them throughout their educational life. I believe that they will complete the educational process in the best possible way as ‘Great Turkey Again’ and fulfill a useful mission for our country, which has the ideals and goals of a ‘New World’.”
1st place candidate
Ersoy announced the winners as follows:
“Winner of the Basic Aptitude Test (TYT) – Suleyman Mete Jenci from Mersin Private Mersin Elite University Science High School.
The winners of our Field Aptitude Test (AYT) are: Vera Kurş, Galatasaray High School, Galatasaray University, Istanbul in equal weight field, Arda Tashdemir Cemil Meriç Scientific High School Elazgu in numerical field, Fatih Emre Düzkan, Private Rize Bacsehir in linguistic field. College Anatolia High School – Rize;
Foreign Language Test (YDT) winners: German Sevgi Kurmizbekmez, Kabataş Boys High School – Istanbul, Arabic Yusuf Salih Orhan, Kartal Anatolian Imam Hatip High School – Istanbul, French Yunus Emre Aydoğan, Çapa Science High School – Istanbul, English Mehmet Alp Günes, Istanbul Ataturk Science High School – Istanbul, Russian Safiye Yaşar, Aylanç Anatolian High School – Ankara.”
Ersoy urged candidates who have got the results to not visit the website multiple times to avoid overloading and hoped that the YKS results would be beneficial.
