Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavash and former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu met yesterday. After their meeting, Kılıçdaroğlu was asked if he would meet with İmamoğlu. Kılıçdaroğlu responded to the question: “I don’t know about that, friends. If there is a request, of course I will meet. A friend from our party. Not a stranger or anyone else. We will sit down and talk.”
“All Asparagus”
In response to a question, Kılıçdaroğlu said “Imamoğlu said he made an appointment and we will meet tomorrow,” to which he replied, “All that is nonsense. There is no such thing. When such an event occurs, the president calls and tells us the day he is coming. I will tell you in advance. My schedule and his schedule should match up. We will sit down within that framework and talk. We will even have food. “We celebrated,” he replied.
“It could happen next week, or the week after…”
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu said in a statement about the meeting: “I’m in Ankara now, and I’ll probably come more often. I said to him, ‘During my duties and arrival at the Turkish Municipal Union, I’d like to talk, preferably over dinner.’ He said, ‘With pleasure.’ But there’s no definite date. I don’t know if he’ll be available this week. So, if he is, I’ll call him anyway. It could be next week. It could be next week. ‘We talk to him on the phone, we decide, we have dinner and chat without telling you anything,’ he said.
“That will happen within the next week.”
Ezer said, “Whether anyone communicates or chats with whom within the CHP, this is in the party’s interest. Mansour also provided me with information about tonight’s dinner. I expressed my satisfaction and followed Ekrem’s statement. “It is a meal that will take place in the next few weeks,” he said.
