We would like to provide additional information regarding the recent recall of Turkey and Puppies Recipe, lot 21244. Out of an abundance of caution, we have notified all customers who purchased this product within a reasonable period of time, however, only lot 21244 is affected. At the bottom of this page you can find the full notice that was emailed to potentially affected customers.

During the inspection, the FDA tested samples of Viva Turkey for Dogs and found that samples from lot 21244 tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes. All products manufactured in lot 21244 will be destroyed, and we have conducted a recall directly with the third-party warehouse we work with.
After receiving reports from customers, we discovered that some products from this batch had been mistakenly shipped from a third-party warehouse. We immediately notified the FDA and, once FDA review and approval was received, we expanded the recall and notified our customers.
