Payments to millions of retirees will be doubled in June. First of all, for retirees who receive the Eid al-Adha bonus, early pension payments are also in the spotlight, as Eid coincides with their payday. The government will take a decision on this issue, but Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Ishkhan said in a statement on the matter that the bonus will be paid before Eid al-Adha and the relevant calendar will be announced soon.
The jackpot has been increased from 2,000TL to 3,000TL
However, according to Faruk Erdem’s news from Yeni Aslı, the June payday will also coincide with the holidays. Eid al-Adha will be celebrated from June 16th to 19th. There are also many retirees whose paydays fall between these dates. Therefore, it is expected that good news regarding monthly payments for all retirees will be announced before the holidays. In this case, retirees will be able to receive their bonuses and pensions together in the week of June 10th to 14th.
Bonus in share of widow and orphan pension recipients
The holiday bonus, which this year has been increased by 50 percent from 2,000 to 3,000 liras, was paid for the first time during the Ramadan holidays. The second bonus this year will be paid from June 10 to 14, before Eid al-Adha. All beneficiaries who receive pensions from social security institutions will benefit from the bonus.
Retirees receive a bonus of 3,000 liras regardless of their salary, while widows and orphans who receive death benefits and those who receive incapacity benefits benefit from the bonus according to the monthly rate of 75%. The bonus is 2,250 liras, those with a monthly rate of 50% receive a holiday bonus of 1500 liras, and those with a monthly rate of 25% receive a holiday bonus of 750 liras. Those who receive two months at a time are paid a bonus based on the file with the highest payout. For the lowest pensioners, the amount credited to their accounts will be 13,000TL.
Will severance pay be paid before the festival?
The monthly pay dates of many retirees coincide with Eid-ul-Adha this year. As you know, the pay dates for retired civil servants are from the 1st to the 5th of each month. Therefore, retired civil servants will already have received their monthly salary before the holiday. SSK retirees will receive their pension in their accounts between the 17th and 26th of each month, while Bakr retirees will receive their pension between the 25th and 28th of the month. Monthly payments for SSK retirees usually start on June 17th and should be completed by June 26th. However, there are cases where the monthly pay dates for SSK retirees overlap with holidays. Therefore, early payment is possible. Of course, this early payment is not limited to these retirees and may be applicable to all retirees.
Those who submit their resignation by May 31 will be eligible to receive the bonus.
Meanwhile, those who have not yet submitted their retirement applications will also have a chance to receive the bonus. For insured persons who applied by the evening of May 31, monthly calculations will begin from June 1. Thus, these retirees will also benefit from the Eid-ul-Adha bonus. They are entitled to receive the bonus even if the monthly connection procedure has not been completed. Once the transaction is completed, the Eid-ul-Adha bonus will be credited to their account along with the lump sum payment. Those who have applied for death benefits will also be entitled to receive the June Eid-ul-Adha bonus.
