Turkiye, who are in Group F at the 2024 Euros, which Germany will host, will face Portugal in their second test of the season. Felix Zweier, the host team’s referee, will be in charge of the match between Turkiye and Portugal at the BVB Dortmund Stadium.
The Crescent Star team, who beat Georgia 3-1 in their opening group match, will be looking to beat Portugal to make it two wins from two matches.
Portugal also beat the Czech Republic 2-1 in their first match with a goal in extra time.
Before the second match, the national team was leading the table, ahead of Portugal on goal difference.
Card-restricted players
Turkey and Portugal each had two players within the yellow card penalty limit before the match.
National team players Hakan Calhanoglu and Abdulkerim Bardak, who received yellow cards in the first match, and Portugal’s Rafael Leao and Francisco Conceição, will be suspended for the final group match if they are shown cards.
