Maval, 28 July 2024: Due to torrential rains in Pune district for the past four days, famous tourist spots in Maval and Mulshi talukas, which are popular during this season, have been closed by the administration as a safety precaution. Despite this, enthusiastic tourists are still visiting these spots, risking their lives and ignoring administration instructions. To prevent any potential danger, tourism has been banned in Maval and Mulshi talukas till July 29. However, today over the weekend, tourists defied the ban and visited Kund Mala Embankment near Talegaon Dhabade in Maval.
Though the administration imposed the ban to avoid danger, some tourists are ignoring it. If anyone gets caught in the water current, the administration will be held responsible. Despite the ban, many tourists are visiting these places amid heavy rains. As a precautionary measure, all tourist spots in Pune district will be closed for the next two days due to increasing water flow. Pune District Commissioner Dr Suhas Diwase has appealed to residents to cooperate and avoid visiting such dangerous places.

The administration has ordered closure of all tourist spots in Maval and Mulshi talukas from July 25 to 29 for security reasons.
