The event takes place over two nights in September on the lush grounds of Tracy Aviary. From 5:30-8 pm, wander the grounds, sample a bite here, a tasting there, and chat with like-minded foodies. Over the years, the event has proven to be one of the most reliable food events on the calendar, bringing together all of Utah’s biggest restaurants to showcase their best dishes. This year marks the 10th anniversary of this food and drink party, so you can be sure they’ll be pulling out all the stops.

Hello, I’m Stuart. Nice to meet you! I’m the founder, writer, and manager of Gastronomic SLC. I’m an award-winning journalist who has spent the better part of 17 years writing in-depth about Salt Lake City’s food and drink scene.
I’ve worked extensively with multiple local publications, from Visit Salt Lake to Salt Lake Magazine. I’ve also helped consult on national television. Pause the credits. Yes, that’s me. I’m also a former restaurant critic who worked at the Salt Lake Tribune for over five years. I’m driven by a critical obsession with rice, alliteration, and the use of difficult words I don’t understand. Things that are said about me are “not inaccurate,” “I thought he was older,” “I can’t empathize with his feelings,” etc.
