Madden fans will soon find out who the next cover star is.
Famous football players have appeared on the cover of the NFL video game since 2000, and a teaser clip shared by the franchise on X has some fans thinking Joe Burrow will be the first Cincinnati Bengals player to appear on this year’s cover.

Has a Bengals player ever been on the cover of Madden?
No Bengals player has ever appeared on the cover of Madden magazine, but in 2007 a player from Northern Kentucky was on the cover.
That year’s cover featured Shaun Alexander, a running back from Florence, Kentucky, who played for the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Commanders.

Madden 25 release date
Madden has yet to officially announce a release date for this year, but Sporting News reports that it is scheduled to be released on Aug. 16. Last year, it was released on Aug. 18.
