The report noted that concerns have been growing about Biden’s ability to continue running following his first live CNN debate with Republican rival Donald Trump on the evening of June 27, with many Democrats criticizing comments by Democratic Representative Adam Schiff, D-N.Y., who has reportedly joined calls for Biden to withdraw.
“I believe Biden will do the right thing. He’s moving in that direction,” said the official, who did not want to be named.
