In the Seyhan district of Adana, Hakim Eva (23) shot and killed his wife Shukran Eva (19), from whom he was in the process of divorcing, as well as his father-in-law, mother-in-law and brother-in-law, with a gun after an argument in the middle of the street. After the gruesome murders, the suspected murderer Hakim Eva fled with their newborn baby. Police have launched an operation to capture Eba.
The incident occurred in the Gülbachesi district of the central Seyhan province when Hakim Eva arrived in front of the house of her father-in-law Turgut Erat to talk with his wife Shukran Eva, who was in the process of divorcing him.
It was noted that Judge Abba claimed that he had come to the house because his wife’s family, with whom he had a disagreement, had not shown his child. It was learned that Abba first started arguing with his wife, and then, when her family got involved, he pulled out a gun and shot her repeatedly. It is reported that suspect Hakim Eva, upon hearing the voices, shot and killed his brother-in-law Muhammet Erat, mother-in-law Leila Erat, and father-in-law Turgut Erat, and fled with the newborn child.
After being alerted by bystanders, multiple police and medical teams were called to the scene. Upon arrival, medical teams determined that all four people who were shot died. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the forensic laboratory for autopsy.
Police teams have launched an operation to arrest Hakim Eva.
