As the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce prepares for the 43rd annual Taste Edmonds, to be held Aug. 9-11 at the Civic Center Playfield, the food and music lineup for 2024 has been finalized, according to a news release.
In addition to all-female AC/DC tribute band Hell’s Bells, 80’s New Wave legends Night Wave and Fleetwood Mac tribute band The Little Lies, performances over the weekend include Queen Mother, Prom Date Mixtape, Laurel Canyon and Nikki and the Fast Times. For the complete artist lineup, visit tasteedmonds.com.
Live performances begin on stage within 30 minutes of the doors opening each day, so arrive early for plenty of opportunities to dance and sing throughout the three days.
Following the success of last year’s Featured Chef Tent, the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce will once again welcome Shubert Ho of FeedMe Hospitality Group, Ethan Stowell of Ethan Stowell Restaurants (and Edmonds’ newest restaurant, Victor Tavern), Jose Garzón of Garzón Latinx Street Food, and Capitol Hill’s buzzy new restaurant, Bad Chancla. New menus from these featured chefs will be announced soon.
In addition to the featured chef tents, the event boasts an all-new food truck/tent lineup to cater for every palate. This year’s vendors include:
• Pure Smoke NW serves slow-smoked barbecue plates, sandwiches and house-made sides.
• Alaska Weathervane Scallops is a popular spot serving fresh pan-seared scallops.
• MoMoCha, Kathmandu, serving handmade dumplings
• Langostino Sushi Burritos offers fusion seafood burritos, fried chicken sandwiches and more
• Tacos El Yoyo, authentic street tacos
• Revive Bowls, offering smoothies and smoothie bowls
There will also be several sweet booths set up at the Civic Center Playfield, all of which can be found on the Taste Edmonds website.
The Taste Edmonds Makers Market is back! The team has partnered with Amanda Figler (AF Pottery) and the Artisan Collective Market to present an improved Makers Market with over 30 vendors. The Makers Market will also be held at the Civic Center Playfield, but it will not be a ticketed event and is free to attend.
