GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Green Bay’s Tarleton Theatre will be transforming a lawn area near the facility into the city’s first dedicated food truck park.
According to posts on the Tarleton Theatre’s social media pages, the grassy lot at 409 West Walnut Street, just west of the historic theater, will be developed into Tarleton’s Trucking Yard.

Organizers will host a free “In The Yard” concert series as a proof of concept for the first phase of development, with the second phase taking place between 2024-2025 and expected to be completed in time for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Truck Yard will feature a rotating selection of local food and drinks from a variety of local food trucks, food trailers and a converted shipping container bar, along with live music, local music and other fun programming, creating a laid-back, urban atmosphere.

Many users expressed their support for the project, with one comment saying, “This is a great idea! I’m looking forward to it!”
Another user added: “I’m so proud of you and your crew. You’re making such a positive difference downtown, organizing events and bringing people here. Keep up the great work, you won’t go unnoticed!”

The Tarleton Theatre Outdoor Concert Series takes place every Thursday at 6pm on the lawn grounds next to the Tarleton Theatre. Here is the schedule for the 2024 season:
