TFF has shared the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) recordings of the four matches played in Week 37 of the Super League on its Youtube account, complete with audio and video. The matches and decisions featured in the video are as follows.
In the 64th minute of the Istanbulspor vs. Sivasspor match, after a corner kick, referee Omer Faruk Turtay awarded a penalty point for handball. After receiving a warning from the VAR, Turtay decided not to award the penalty and instead awarded the corner kick.
-90+3 minutes between Besiktas and Hatayspor. VAR warned referee Cihan Aydin that a penalty could be awarded for his intervention on Salih Ussan in the penalty area immediately after the home team’s corner kick. Aydin saw what was going on and awarded a penalty point in Besiktas’ favor.
– In the 53rd minute of Gaziantep’s free-kick match against Fatih Karagumliuk, referee Zorbay Küçuk showed a yellow card after Ceccherini interfered with Markovic. After receiving a VAR warning, Coach Kuczuk, who had been watching the situation from the sideline, canceled the yellow card and sent off Ceccherini with a red card.
– In the 14th minute of the match between Kayserispor and Konyaspor, VAR alerted referee Khalil Umut Mellor because Ugurcan remained on the ground after a dead ball. Meller, who was watching the situation, directly showed Dakens Nazon a red card for his foul play.
