Another change has come to the Sultans of the Nets squad as they prepare for their first match at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Aydin makes his first appearance on the team
Tugba Şenor, who was included in the Sultans of the Net’s initial Olympic squad, was dropped from the team. Ilkin Aydın was included in the Sultans of the Net’s 12+1 squad announced for the 2024 Paris Olympics, replacing Tugba Şenor.

ZEHRA GÜNEŞ was selected to the +1 team
Zehera missed the final weeks of the Nations League due to injury, but was included in the Olympic squad. Changes were made to the +1 squad ahead of the match against the Netherlands, with Beiza Arju moving to the main squad and Zehra Gunes joining the reserves. Zehera could return to the squad for the second half of the tournament.
Turkiye was the first country to use reserve players on the women’s team, a change that required approval from officials. Once approved, 13 athletes, including Beyza Alic, will receive medals if they win.
TRT reporter Enes Jarnuz had this to say about the matter: “The issue has been on the agenda for a few days now. A meeting was held within the team yesterday. The decision has been made and at the moment it seems to be the right one. It’s only natural. It takes time for players to return from injuries to their healthiest state.”
