Beşiktaş had a happy ending with the transfer of Rafa Silva. The plane carrying the new transport of blacks and whites landed in Istanbul.
Besiktas’ new signing stepped off the plane wearing the new season’s jersey.
Rafa Silva’s first statement: “My promise to the fans is that I will do everything to win and to win trophies. I can promise you this. For me it was easy to choose this place. I have played against Besiktas, I know the atmosphere of the fans very well. That’s why I’m so excited to win and to win trophies. I promise you I will be very happy to wear this jersey. Speaking about the new season jersey, Silva said: “It’s the first time I’ve worn this jersey and I’ll be wearing it more in the future. The most important thing is to sweat while wearing this jersey and achieve great victories. It’s very important for me to be here. I’d like to thank the respected vice president for believing in me and I’m here to win victories together with the fans,” he said.
Fayyaz Uçar said: “After many years of negotiations, we have brought in the famous Portuguese star Rafa Silva. Our President Hussein brought him himself. We welcome him. We will all follow the next process together.”

Beşiktaş transfer candidate Rafa Silva was born on 17 May 1993 in the Forte da Casa region of Portugal.
