Soul Brothers and Bubbles & Cream are closing at Marble City Market, the last owners to have been in business since Knoxville’s first food hall opened in late 2021.
The restaurant, which serves Korean and Southern fusion cuisine, will close along with its sister dessert shop on June 16. Owners Vic Scott and Josh Coates announced the closures on Instagram on June 1.
“Opening Soul Brothers and Bubbles & Cream is a dream come true for us in so many ways,” the post read. “We are grateful for this experience and for having had the opportunity to share this journey with so many amazing people. We are thankful for our time at Real Good Kitchen and Marble City Market, where we were able to share the foods we ate as children with all of you.”
The post teased that “there will be new things coming from us in the near future,” and also offered an “inside look” at what customers can get next if they visit the restaurant at 333 W. Depot Ave. before it closes.
“We would also like to thank everyone who came out to enjoy our food and everyone who continues to support Soul Brothers. We appreciate your continued support and hope to see you all in the coming weeks as we say goodbye to this chapter of our lives,” the post read.
