SNOHOMISH — The Snohomish Community Food Bank will have a new director in August.
Current director Ashley Crews is moving out of state with her family.

The job is said to pay between $70,000 and $80,000 a year.
In expressing her gratitude, Cruz said, “My time at the food bank was short but wonderful. I was blessed to spend my days working with our amazing volunteer coordinator, Robin Rotondo, the best volunteers, the most generous and caring community, and the kindest clients and their four-legged friends. I call the food bank the second happiest place on Earth (after Disneyland, of course), and I have seen lives changed by the kindness that emanates from all of you who make this food bank so special.”
The food bank is located at 1330 Ferguson Road. (Additional volunteers are always needed.)
Cruz, a Snohomish High School graduate, took over as director of the food bank in late November, replacing longtime director Elizabeth Durand.
