An educational movement that attracts hundreds of thousands of people in Europe is making its way to the United States and starting a tradition right here in the nation’s capital. KCRA 3’s Erin Heft shows us her second day at the American festival Terra Madre. This is a national as well as international one for Sacramento, rooted in a brand new tradition. What we do in Italy, with roots that have fascinated thousands of people for years. What you are looking at here is the transformation of a part of the capital. I just made these. It was very delicious. Terra Madre, one of the world’s largest food conferences, is the first American recreation of a tradition across the pond in Italy that draws hundreds of thousands of people each year. A new chapter for ourselves began this weekend in Sacramento. Terra Madre, American food experts travel from all over the world to gather here to focus on the interconnected nature of food and connect it to each aspect of our daily lives. I think this shows that Sacramento’s culinary reputation is real. This is a fascinating show that has been running in Italy for 20 years. 350,000 people from more than 100 countries gathered to further highlight topics about the climate crisis, social justice, and their relationship to the bites we ingest every day, and to build on what we define as a “good, clean, and just” food system. We are promoting. “Good” refers to healthy elements and also refers to pleasure. When you eat, you need to love what you’re eating. Clean refers to all environmental components that are environmentally sustainable. Food production and justice refer to all elements of social justice. Because there are too many farmers in the world who don’t get paid enough for their work. Good, clean, fair. The Slow Food movement is partially represented by this snail insignia. In this area he has 1.5 million acres of active farmland. Over 165 crops grow from the ground. So when we talk about agriculture, we talk about agriculture and we talk about food. Sacramento is truly the epicenter of the United States, which is why it deserves it. very well. Marks the next milestone in Sacramento’s growing culinary reputation. Every time we buy something, every time we eat something, we can affect ourselves. Both to others and on Earth.Terra Madre Americas A tradition that is expected to grow with each passing year
