The Ripon Area School District (RASD) will be providing free meals to area children this summer. Any child 18 years old or younger can participate, regardless of whether they are enrolled in the school district or not.
During the summer school program, which runs from June 17 to July 19, breakfast will be served at each school building from 8 to 8:30 a.m. weekdays, and lunch will be served at Ripon High School Commons, Murray Park Quest Elementary School and Barlow Park Journey Elementary School from noon to 12:30 p.m. Students attending summer school will be provided breakfast and lunch a little earlier each day.
Curbside Meal Pack pickup will be available at Ripon High School every Tuesday from 7-9 a.m. July 23 through Aug. 27. Meal Packs contain seven breakfasts and seven lunches for one child for a week. The nutritious meals come in a variety of options, including fresh, easy-to-prepare and ready-to-heat meals.
Meal packs must be pre-ordered online at https://bit.ly/3xrfc2K. Anyone under the age of 18 may order a meal pack. More information about the program can be found on the Food Service page of the district’s website at www.ripon.k12.wi.us.
When students from 4k to 12th grade return for Student Orientation Days on August 29th and 30th, the program will again provide free breakfast from 8 to 8:30 a.m. and free lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m. to pre-school age children on the grounds of Ripon High School, Ripon Middle School, Murray Park Quest and Barlow Park Elementary.
