The main provisions of the declaration were aimed at continuing measures against Russia and China over the war in Ukraine.
The declaration also included a nuclear warning to Iran.

“I hope that the G7 summit taking place in Italy today will be beneficial for humanity. I want to emphasize that I expect a more fair, inclusive and realistic approach from the G7, which aims to encourage countries to work together in resolving global issues and regional conflicts,” Erdogan said in a post on his social media account.

President Erdogan, who arrived at Ataturk Airport on his private plane CAN, was greeted by Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, Istanbul Governor Davut Gul, and other officials.
President Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan, Presidential Chief of Staff for Foreign Affairs and Security Affairs Akif Cachatai Kılıc, and Vice President for Communications Cachatai Özdemir also returned to Turkey.
