President Erdogan made the remarks at a meeting of representatives of non-governmental organizations and sectors held in Rize.
As for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, he said: “Mr Abbas should first apologise to us as we invited him and he did not come. We invited him and he did not come. We are waiting. We will see if he can come,” he said.
