President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered a speech at the Eid al-Adha program hosted by the AK Party Headquarters via video conference with party organizations from 81 provinces on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Below are the main points of President Erdogan’s speech:
I greet you with affection. I send my greetings to all members of our organization. I pray that your worship and sacrifices may be acceptable to Allah.
“We will continue to provide humanitarian assistance.”
We celebrate Eid al-Adha during the time of genocide on Palestinian soil. Palestine is facing another sad holiday after 76 years of genocide. The pain of our brothers martyred by Israel, who committed genocide, tears at our hearts. We are living through trying times that test our humanity. The world must take preventive measures against Israel and build barriers before it. We insist that Prime Minister Netanyahu be stopped at every opportunity. We made it clear to our G7 and Italian interlocutors that we have mobilized our means to hold the perpetrators of genocide accountable. We have completely stopped trade transactions to force the Israeli government into a ceasefire. We will continue our humanitarian assistance. Our relationship with Hamas continues. We are working to increase the number of countries that recognize the Palestinian state.
“We rush to the aid of the Open One.”
We will not remain silent about the tragedies in Gaza and other parts of Islamic geography. We continue our efforts to stop the fraternal conflict in Sudan. We help the oppressed. Hopefully, we will continue to stand tall and be the cry of the oppressed. Eid is solidarity and embrace.
We sincerely wish to build friendship among our people. As the AK Party, we acted on this understanding in our struggle to gain the consent and rights of our people. We did not tolerate arrogance or destructive behavior around us.

We did not want tensions, quarrels or arguments, and we do not want them today. Our path is the path of serving the nation. We consider the whole of Turkey as brothers and embrace all its people.
