Bullet fatigue occurs when a gun loses altitude after firing into the air and falls out of range of the bullet. This extremely dangerous situation has claimed many lives in Turkey.

Ahmet Emre Cavus, a high school student who was shot while walking along a road in Sultangazi, Istanbul in 2015, died two years and 11 days later. The suspect was found not guilty due to insufficient evidence. His father, Sergeant Bulent, who filed the appeal, said, “Punishment in this country is not a deterrent, and injustice exists.”
