The Ministry of Finance announced new measures within the scope of efforts to combat the unregistered economy.
According to an announcement from the Revenue Board (GİB), the Ministry of Finance has launched a new complaint channel for effective public reporting.
Under the new period, those who wish to pay with IBAN but do not issue a receipt or invoice will be able to immediately lodge a complaint through social media.
Where is the tax bill generated?
To facilitate and expedite notifications and complaints, the services of GIB’s official website, Digital Tax Office, GIB Mobile and Tax Communication Center have been updated.

Who can complain?
According to the Department of Revenue, issues that can be reported include:
– Introduction of low value-added tax
-Request for payment by IBAN/PTT check
・We do not issue receipts or invoices.
・When using another company’s POS terminal
・No taxpayer registration
– Issuing or using false/misleading documents
・Direct payment of labor costs
・Failure to declare rental income
-Underpayment of title fees
