The “Ordinance for Partial Amendment of the Private Vehicle Driver Training Regulations” has been published in the Official Gazette.
Highlights of the deal include:
*Presentment of the new ID card is required to register at a driving school.
*To prevent fraud, we will take a photo of the trainee when they register and verify through the system that the photo and information are of the trainee. Invoices issued to trainees will also be processed to prevent financial fraud.
If you do not pass the first four exams on a course, you may still exercise your right to take the exam a second time by enrolling in another course.
*Those who voluntarily cancel their registration after passing the written test, and those who fail the driving school test, will be exempt from the written course and test if they retake the test within three years.
The exam will be conducted through two routes.
*Those who are serving in the military, pregnant, giving birth, or suffering from an illness that requires time to treat may freeze their exam eligibility and use the remaining exam eligibility at the end of the exemption period.
*Exam times will be from 7:00 to 21:00 instead of 7:00 to 18:00, and each trainee will have 40 minutes for the practical exam.
*The examination route will be determined by lottery on the day of the exam.
*If the trainee is unable to get between the cones in one move in the reverse parking application, they can still make the same move again.
* Trainees who pass the exam will receive their certificate via e-Government.
*Anyone who uses threats, insults or force to obstruct or impede the duties of a member of the committee or other officials, or who takes or attempts to make another person take the examination on their behalf, or who makes another person take or attempts to make another person take the examination on their behalf, will be barred from taking the examination for five years.
*For road tests, the Application and Evaluation Committee will test 10 people per day instead of 12.
*For cars, you will practice turning in narrow spaces using up to three hands and driving on auxiliary roads.For motorcycles, you will practice turning in narrow spaces.
*Disabled trainees may be trained and tested in their own vehicle or in a separate vehicle provided that is appropriate to the criteria and their disability.
Some of these changes will take effect in six months.
