325 euros per month support for working mothers: Minister Ishkhan presents details of the project
Stating that the payments will be made to mothers and no separate payment will be made to caregivers, Ishkhan said the payments will be made to 3,500 working mothers, who will then employ 3,500 caregivers, bringing the total number of caregivers to 7,000, which would benefit from the project.
Ishkhan said the project has a budget of 15.3 million euros and will provide monthly support of 325 euros to each working mother.
The project will last for 12 months
Giving information about the number of applications, Ishkhan said:
“This project, which opened pre-registration on June 3, has received many requests, and as of the second day, the total number of applications was 12,246. After accepting pre-registrations, we will complete the main registration.” Incentive payments for the project will begin in August 2024 and continue on October 25. “Our project is scheduled to end in 2025.”
İşhan noted that the Registered Women’s Employment Support Project (Women’s Up) was also implemented in 2021 through SGK, and said that within the scope of this project, 4,000 female employees in Şanlıurfa, Kahramanmaras, Samsun, Ankara, Aydın, Denizli and Istanbul have been employed. He said that a total of 635.9 million liras was paid over 25 months to employ 4,000 female employees.
