According to the latest assessment made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), the northern and eastern parts of the country will be partly cloudy and sometimes very cloudy. Eastern Black Sea Region, Eastern Anatolia Region (except Malatya) and the east will be cloudy. In southeastern Anatolia, there will be localized showers and thunderstorms, while other places will be slightly cloudy or sunny.
Rainfall; locally heavy weather is expected inland in the eastern Black Sea region, around Artvin and Rize, and in northern eastern Anatolia.
Temperatures across the country are expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees and remain above normal for the season.
