According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological General Directorate (MGM), the northern, central and eastern parts of the country will be partly cloudy at times, very cloudy at times, and the inner Mediterranean, inner central and eastern parts will be cloudy. Localized showers are expected to occur in the Black Sea, Kirklareli and Istanbul, the Black Sea coast of Denizli, the southern parts of Afyonkarahisar, Eskişehir, Ankara, the surrounding areas of Sinop, Samsun, Erzurum, Kars, Idil, Ağrı and eastern Van. There will be thunderstorms and thundershowers in some places, and the rest will be cloudy or slightly cloudy. Strong northerly winds are expected in the Marmara region and the northern Aegean region, which may become stormy (50-80 km/h) in some cases.
Temperatures are estimated to be above seasonal norms in some places in the South and West, and near seasonal norms in others.

North and north-easterly winds are expected to blow with short and strong storms (50-70 km/h for short periods) in the Marmara and northern Aegean regions, so caution is advised, with possible downsides including disruption to transport and roofs being blown off.
