Levi Jed Murphy says he doesn’t care about troll comments
A man who spent a whopping £30,000 to make himself look like an Instagram filter says he has been teased about his appearance and compared to the mask from film The Purge.
Levi Jed Murphy, 24, has had fillers in his lips, cheeks, chin, jawline and under-eye area, as well as a nose job, lip lift, temple lift and cat eye lift. He has also had orthodontic surgery.

In total he has spent more than £30,000 on cosmetic surgery and procedures and while he is happy with the way he looks, not everyone agrees and he often receives nasty messages on social media.
But Levy, from Manchester, says he isn’t letting the negative comments and trolls get him down and that “it doesn’t bother me”.
“I had my first lip filler injection when I was 19,” said Levy, who runs a successful OnlyFans account with her boyfriend.
“In the end, I loved the look so much that I went back a month later and have been going ever since.
“When I was 20, I started getting fillers in my cheeks, chin and under-eye area and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had them.

“Because of my popularity, I’m now able to get it for free as part of a promotion, so whenever my face is looking a bit flat I can just go in and get a free top-up, which is really helpful.”
“By the time I was 20, I knew I wanted a nose job and a lip lift.
“It wasn’t because I lacked confidence or hated the way I looked, but because I quickly got bored with the way my face looked and wanted to change it.
“I can live happily with the way I look now, or even the way I looked before the surgery, but I like to try different things.
“For me, it’s not a big deal. It’s like changing your clothes, but of course it’s a little more extreme and painful.”
I researched a lot and ended up deciding to go to Turkey as I could get the same surgery as here in the UK for half the price.

“At the time, my boyfriend and I had opened an OnlyFans account and were making 10 times more than I was making working in retail.
“The money was amazing and I was able to do all the work I wanted to do.
“Instagram came out with a filter that shows what you’d look like with plastic surgery and I loved it.
“I understood all the different steps laid out in the filter and followed them.
“I love attracting attention, and even after my surgery I’ve been posting about my recovery on social media to draw attention to myself.”
“Obviously, not everyone responds positively to my look and I’ve received thousands of nasty comments from trolls saying I resemble Handsome Squidward or the mask from ‘The Purge’.

“But to be honest, I’m so used to getting nasty comments that I don’t really care about the good or the bad.”
“My mum and my boyfriend fully support me in whatever I do, and that’s important to me.
“Also, a lot of people tell me that I’ve inspired them or helped them become more confident, which is really nice.”
