On Sunday night, the Dallas Mavericks lost to the Boston Celtics, 105-98.
Despite the loss, Luka Doncic had a great game, finishing with 32 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals on 12-of-21 field goals and 4-of-9 three-pointers in 42 minutes of playing time.
The All-Star forward also made his mark in Mavs history.

Doncic has performed well in the first two games, but the Mavs are now down 2-0 in the series.
After Sunday’s loss, he was very honest about what he needs to improve (From NBA TV).
Doncic: “I think my turnovers and missed free throws are the reasons we lost the game. I need to work harder on those two areas.”

Doncic led the Mavs to the Western Conference finals in 2022, but this will be his first time in the NBA Finals.
He’s coming off an outstanding regular season in which he played in 70 games and averaged 33.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, 9.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 48.7 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from three-point range.
The Mavericks are the fifth seed in the Western Conference (50-32) and have defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves in the first three rounds.

Game 3 of the series against the Celtics will be played Wednesday night in Dallas, Texas.
