On Tuesday night, the Dallas Mavericks hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves in Texas for Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.
It was a close game, but the Timberwolves won 105-100 to advance to Game 5 and end their season victorious.
Despite the loss, All-Star forward Luka Doncic finished with 28 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal on 7-of-21 field goal shooting and 4-of-11 3-pointers in 41 minutes of playing time.
He also made his mark in NBA history.

Doncic is in his sixth season in the league and has led the Mavs to the conference finals twice in the past three seasons.
So far in the first 16 games of the 2024 playoffs, he is averaging 28.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 42.6% from the field and 32.7% from 3-point range.

Game 5 of the series will be played Thursday night at Target Center in Minnesota.
If the Timberwolves win, Game 6 will be played again in Dallas on Saturday night.
The team that wins this series will advance to the NBA Finals to face the Boston Celtics led by Jayson Tatum.
The Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
