OLATHE, KS (KCTV) – A man accused of contaminating food at a Leawood restaurant will likely have a hard time getting out of prison.
A Johnson County judge increased Jace Hanson’s bail to $500,000 during a hearing Thursday afternoon. The judge also set a condition that Hanson will be released if he can come up with the money needed to get out of jail.
Hanson’s bond conditions: $500,000 No access to computers or other electronic devices No contact with children or anyone under the age of 18
The judge added the condition one day after Johnson County prosecutors charged Hanson with 32 additional counts of criminal threats and sexual exploitation of a child.

Twenty-one of the new charges relate to allegations that Mr Hanson contaminated food whilst working at Hereford House in Leawood earlier this year.
The remaining charges relate to what investigators allegedly found on Hanson’s cellphone.
According to court documents, investigators found dozens of videos on the device showing inappropriate interactions between the man and children and infants.
During Thursday’s hearing, prosecutors also read out messages they said were from Hanson in which he expressed a desire to carry out acts similar to those found on the phone.
