Victor Becali, a friend of Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho, has said that the Portuguese manager would like to bring Ianis Hagi into his team.
“At the moment there is no concrete information about a transfer of Ianis Hagi to Fenerbahce. You know very well what is the relationship between us and Jose Mourinho. At the moment there is nothing. But this means,” manager Victor Becali told Romanian reporters. “Ianis Hagi will not be able to come to Fenerbahce. “Mourinho has always liked Ianis Hagi. Once the situation calms down, Mourinho will get to work and draw up a transfer list,” he said.
Becali said he would be very happy to see Gheorghe Hagi’s son, Ianis Hagi, at Fenerbahce, and added, “I can’t confirm if Ianis will go to Fenerbahce, but something could happen in the near future. Mourinho will bring in a player worth more than 100 million euros.” This is Fenerbahce’s responsibility. “Frankly, it would be a great pleasure for us to have Ianis Hagi play for Fenerbahce, but at the moment there is nothing concrete, but something could happen in the next few hours, possibly in the next few days,” he said.
Ianis Hagi, 25, signed from Rangers and played on loan last season, making 25 appearances and scoring two goals and providing two assists.
