He filed a missing persons report and it was revealed that he had sexually abused three girls.
It is alleged that Selahattin Yarnuz sexually abused the two runaway girls, as well as B.D.’s brother G.D., who lived with him and has an intellectual disability, for many years. It was also revealed that Selahattin Yarnuz was violent towards Fitnat Ertekin, FTB, BD, and GD, who lived in his home. Meanwhile, FTB and BD, who have been systematically abusing Yarnuz for many years, said they have images of Yarnuz and filed an application with the Domestic Directorate of the Istanbul Başakşehir District Police on May 18.
Selahattin Yarnuz denied the allegations, saying the video was authentic but that she had been given sleeping pills and was unconscious at the time. During the show, her mother Fitnat Ertekin initially admitted to the allegations, but then made contradictory statements and tried to blame her daughter.
Ann was detained alone with Ertekin.
After the incident came to light, on the orders of the Ortaca Chief Prosecutor’s Office, a team from the Ortaca District Police came to the house where Selahattin Yarniz lived and detained Fitnat Ertekin together with Yarniz.
Hearing about the incident, many citizens flocked to the Ortaca police station during the day, some of whom wanted to lynch Selahattin Yarnucí as he was being taken to the police station, and some reacted to the incident with slogans.
After approximately six hours of testimony, Selahattin Yarnuz and Fitnat Ertekin were presented for arrest at the Ortaca Court.
As the suspects were leaving the police station, a crowded crowd tried to attack them but the police team prevented them. The suspects were then taken to Ortaca Court under full security measures.
