Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu congratulated Bahçelievler Mayor Hakan Bahadur in his office after he was elected to the position for the second time. Imamoglu expressed his wishes for success and his blessings to Bahadur, saying, “May God not put him in any trouble. I hope that he will enjoy a fulfilling assignment together with his valuable elected colleagues, city council members, the bureaucracy, and of course all the people of Bahçelievler. After all, life in Istanbul will be good if all municipalities in Istanbul perform their jobs firmly and perfectly. “It is the window that we are looking at,” he said.

Stating that Bahçelievler is one of the districts that holds an important place in life, Imamoglu said: “That is my good fortune. I have a lot of district experience, including work, life and home, in different districts of Istanbul. This seems to me to be a big advantage in Istanbul. I have enough experience to know this place street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood. I like it very much. We are a good district, a district that is in the center. Yes; it has its advantages. Of course, there are problems. But here is why we came here today with the whole team: First of all, we will listen. Then we will have a meeting between the teams and we will do the analysis. “We intend to finish it in June,” he said.
“We’re looking to have a sound strategic plan.”
“We aim to develop a sound strategic plan for the city by prioritizing and ranking projects for the next five years according to the budget, based on the district’s perspective, its demand, and our findings,” Imamoglu said. , adding, “I say this everywhere. For this reason, Bahçelievler will also be included in this. It is one of the most populous districts. This is the first time in the history of the metropolitan region. This was actually my request the last time I visited all 39 districts. But there were flaws and confusion, and there was no soil for dialogue at the level we wanted. But this time, by removing all the flaws and maintaining the highest level of dialogue and respect, respect for institutions, respect for elections, respect for will, hopefully we will be able to provide a sane, worthy service period for the people and worthy of society. I wish President Hakan success. May the way be clear. “Please provide good service in Bahçelievler too,” he said.
