Bakhchivan said in a statement:
“We are going through a very important process in the fight against inflation and are now entering the de-inflation process. In this fight, to ensure trust in society, everyone needs to make the maximum sacrifices. We are seeing this effort and sacrifice in all sectors of society.”
However, in this sensitive period, electricity prices have increased by about 40% and, even if there are good reasons for it, I consider it another step in the inflationary approach that has become one of the most unpleasant habits of recent years.
Belief in fighting inflation collapses
I believe that such a one-time large increase in electricity tariffs will directly cause all institutions and people, whether affected or not, to lose faith in the fight against inflation and will leave a negative mark and perception in the future. This increase disrupts the belief in the fight against inflation.
If we want to be successful in the fight against inflation, we need to remove these tough times from our agenda immediately. “I share the concern that it would be more accurate to do this over a period of time, otherwise something similar could happen again.”
We are at a critical juncture in the fight against inflation and are entering the de-inflation process. In order to ensure trust in society in this fight, we all need to make the greatest sacrifices. We are seeing these efforts and sacrifices in all sectors of society.
