That’s why NBC4 and Telemundo 44 are expanding Food 4 Families to a year-long project and asking you to help solve food insecurity in the Washington, DC area.

Over the past few years, the pandemic and rising food prices have widened the gap between those who know where their next meal is coming from and those who don’t.
NBC4 and T44 are committed to telling stories about food insecurity across our region, not just during the holidays but all year round.

Talk about food insecurity and hunger and how it affects the most unexpected people, discuss solutions, meet with local people and organizations working to provide resources, and learn where to get help for family members and acquaintances in need.
Before Food 4 Families, we were called Project Harvest. Whatever the name, we helped thousands of families during the holiday season. Now we look forward to serving those in need all year round. Thank you Working 4 Our Community!
