Canakkale deputy Ridvan Uz suggested “removing all photos of Meral Akşener from the headquarters and parliament.”
Former Doi Party chairwoman Meral Akşener also wrote a letter to the party, asking it to remove photos of her from its headquarters and organisations.
In his letter to Party Chairman Ji, Akshener included the following statement:
“In a closed group meeting held on June 12, 2024, following the request of Canakkale Party Deputy Ridvan Uz, I was asked to download my photos from the headquarters, parliament, provincial and district organizational authorities following my visit. As the founding chairman, I have ordered the President to take the necessary measures without delay, so I am submitting them for your reference.”
