A man who was allegedly harassing his friend’s wife was stabbed to death by her husband in Sisli. The couple were detained and processed at the police station before being sent to court. The woman, Darhislen Aragnuden, who claimed to have been the victim of an attempted sexual assault, gave a statement to the police explaining the details of the incident.
The incident occurred yesterday morning on Birecikci Street in Bozkurt District. According to the information received, a friend, Amarsana Burda, and an unknown person came to visit the home of Mongolian couple Sartur Aragnuden (55) and Darhisuren Aragnuden (48). At night, Sartur Aragnuden left his apartment and went to the market to do some shopping. When Sartur returned home some time later, he witnessed his friend Amarsana beating his wife.
A fight then ensued between Saltur and Amarsana, with Amarsana Burda falling to the ground from the knife blow. After members of the public heard a noise and called police and medical teams were called to the scene. The medical team accompanied police into the apartment and pronounced Amarsana Burda dead at the scene. The police team arrested the couple and another person at the scene.
He allegedly attempted to rape her.
In her statement at the police station, the woman, Darhisuren Aragnuden, said she was sexually assaulted by her friend, Amarsana Burda, after her husband had gone to the market and that her husband had entered the room during a fight between the two, after which she fainted as she hit her head against the wall.
Sartour Aragnuden said he had returned from the market when he saw his friend Amarsana Burda hitting his wife and that a fight then broke out between the two, but he did not remember the moment of the stabbing.
Meanwhile, after making their statements at the police station, the couple was sent to court on charges of “intentional homicide”.

“We were woken up in the night by the sounds of a fight and the morning after the incident we called an ambulance and police as we suspected murder,” said homeowner Hanifi Yildiz, who went outside after hearing voices.
The scene we encountered when they arrived was horrible. Then the scene investigators and prosecutors arrived. Then all sorts of investigations were carried out and it was found to be a murder. After this, the murderer was handcuffed and taken to the police station. We don’t know the exact reason. These are people from Mongolia. They were our tenants. A couple was sitting there. We don’t know what led to the quarrel or the reason for the murder. “One of the guests who came to the house was stabbed in the back and died,” he said.
