Hair transplant clinic in Istanbul, Turkey
Hair of Istanbul is a hair transplant clinic located in the residential area of Atakoy, Istanbul, Turkey.
The 4,800-square-foot replacement facility integrated two former residential apartment units to accommodate the clinic’s expanding programs and patient profile, as well as provide the clinic with a modern aesthetic.
Design features inspired by nature
The clinic, which opened in August 2022, incorporates the concept of a “digital forest” and the concept of nature that leads to recovery into its clinic design in order to create a place of healing. The project incorporates biophilic design, including the use of vibrant green tones, natural wood, and lively green walls in both circulation and operational zones.
To support the idea of a sterile and clean environment for service, the design features a minimalist approach with easy-to-clean surfaces and the use of white on various materials such as metal and glass.
Technological elements such as sensor doors and video walls will be integrated into the project to support the facility’s modern look and operation.
clinic design artwork
Artwork is also an important part of the project. For example, a video wall at the entrance or a screen at the end of a hallway placed as a curiosity feature displays digital artwork and provides soothing sounds to help patients relax as they wait for their appointment.
In addition, two humanoid sculptures created specifically for this project are displayed in the hallway.
