Host country Germany and Denmark faced off in the round of 16 of the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024). The match took place at the BVB Dortmund Stadium, with Germany winning 2-0 to advance to the quarterfinals.
Kai Havertz and Jamal Musiala scored from the penalty spot to seal the victory for Germany, after goals from Nico Schlotterbeck in the fourth minute and Joachim Andersen in the 48th minute for Denmark were ruled out by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
Germany, who beat Denmark to reach the quarter-finals, will face the winner of the match between Spain and Georgia in this round.
