Soaking in the beauty of Greece, Samantha is having the time of her life. From visiting the magnificent architecture to devouring the local food, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s advice to Athens is worth taking note of. In the opening frame of Samantha’s post, she is seen laughing heartily while sitting in a restaurant enjoying her dessert. The next slide shows a narrow, illuminated alleyway in Athens, where the cafe offers open seating. In one of the pictures, a full-frame image of the Bank of Greece can also be seen. Samantha has posted a picture of a marble statue with the head of the goddess Aphrodite, and it turns out she has also visited the Acropolis Museum. After Samantha’s happy selfie, we see the iconic temple of Athens, the Parthenon. One of the stills shows Samantha blowing out candles on several pastries to celebrate her 37th birthday. Sharing the photo, Samantha captioned it simply, “Athens.”

Apart from these places, there are a few other must-see spots when you come to Athens.
1. Odeon of Herodes Atticus
Located on the south side of the Acropolis, the Odeum of Herodes Atticus was built in 161 BC and can accommodate up to 5,000 spectators. After falling into ruins, it was restored in the 1950s and is now a popular open-air theater.
2. National Diet Building
One of the most striking sights in Athens is the magnificent neoclassical Parliament Building, which houses the government and the central library.
3. Temple of Olympian Zeus
Construction of this temple began in the 6th century BC by the rulers of Athens. The largest temple in Greece is open daily from 8 AM to 3 PM. The temple is dedicated to Zeus, the king of the gods.
4. Olympic Stadium
Built in the 1980s, the Olympic Stadium was built for the European Athletics Championships and is the largest stadium in Greece with 70,000 seats, so it’s definitely worth a visit.
5. Meteora
One of the most breathtaking spots in Greece is Meteora, a monastery surrounded by towering cliffs – basically a rock formation in the Trikala region of northwestern Greece.
