The fight against forest fires in Turkey continues. Fires in Manisa and Antalya have been extinguished by air and ground.

Manisa
The first report of the fire was received from Manisa: a fire of unknown cause broke out at around 12:00 in a forest area near Duar district of Qurkacaci district.
The fire was brought under control in about six hours with the intervention of air and ground teams.

Cooling efforts in the area were found to be continuing, while the Gendarmerie launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
Four planes, four helicopters, 15 water tankers, seven water trucks and one bulldozer belonging to the Izmir Regional Forestry Directorate were deployed.

Antalya
A forest fire in Antalya’s Aksek district has been put out with air and ground intervention.
A fire broke out in a forest area in the Boğazkuyu district.

Staff at an observation tower spotted smoke and two helicopters, three water planes and 20 forest officials were dispatched to the area.
Teams brought the fire under control with intensive air and ground intervention.
The region continues to work on cooling.

Moolah fire is under control
A fire of unknown cause broke out in a forest area in the Milas district of Muğla, Oren district, Aratepe city, at around 2:30 p.m.

Following the notification, air and land vehicles belonging to the Mugla Regional Forestry Directorate were dispatched to the area.

Filmed under supervision
The fire was put out in about two hours. Initial investigations indicate that the fire has damaged an area of two hectares. The Gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
