Food Network kicks off summer Bobby Flay-style with new seasons of hit primetime series Bobby’s Triple Threat and BBQ Brawl. Network icon Flay is a master culinary artist who has competed at the highest level for years. Bobby’s Triple Threat features three top chefs he handpicks to represent him as the next generation of culinary titans. Each episode will feature Bobby hosting from his speakeasy-style kitchen as titans Tiffany Delee, Michael Voltaggio and Brooke Williamson take on seasoned contestants in three cooking battles featuring surprising ingredients for a chance to win $25,000 in prize money. The season 3 premiere will air Tuesday, July 9 at 9pm ET/PT, with legendary chef Marcus Samuelsson taking on titans in a historic cooking battle. Upcoming contestants in the 10-episode season include Eric Adjepong, Shirley Chan and Kevin Lee.
In BBQ Brawl, the competition returns to Texas, where Bobby joins Sonny Anderson and, for the first time, Michael Voltaggio to mentor talented pitmasters from across the country in a high-stakes challenge to determine who will be called the “Master of Cue.” Each superstar chef will lead their team through ten episodes of intense BBQ challenges. Judges Carson Kressley, Rodney Scott and Brooke Williamson will decide which dishes were the most and least successful. At the end of the ten-episode season, only one pitmaster will triumph and earn the title of “Master of Cue” and bragging rights for the coaches. The fifth season of BBQ Brawl begins on Monday, July 8 at 9 PM ET/PT.
“I’m always excited when summer comes around,” says Flay, “It’s the season for more outdoor cooking and charcoal cooking, and this year we’re kicking off new seasons of Triple Threat and BBQ Brawl!”
“Viewers have been eagerly awaiting new episodes of Bobby’s Triple Threat and BBQ Brawl, and we’re thrilled to bring you such an action-packed season,” said Betsy Ayala, head of food content, Warner Bros. Discovery. “Under Bobby’s guidance, the Triple Threat titans push their culinary limits against tough opponents every week. And nothing says summer like a BBQ Brawl, and this season our hosts and pitmasters will be serving up some incredibly delicious food along with some good-natured trash talk.”
