Food Bank for the Heartland announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors, Janelle Allen and Paul Check. Food Bank for the Heartland announced the addition of Janelle Allen, executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Nebraska Children’s Hospital, to its board of directors. With a focus on leading the organization’s human resources strategy, Janelle plays a key role in driving initiatives centered around organizational transformation, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, and brand management. The Food Bank also welcomed Paul Check, COO of Woodhouse Auto Family, to its board of directors. Paul is involved in all business activities for the organization and helps manage the overall global management of Woodhouse Auto Family. “These individuals were carefully selected for their expertise, community leadership, and passion for creating food secure communities.
