Fenerbahçe new signing Allan Saint-Maximin has officially signed for the yellow-and-navy club.
“Every time I watched a Fenerbahçe game, I turned up the volume on my TV to feel the amazing atmosphere the fans create! Now I will be able to experience it first-hand on the field,” the French star said on his social media accounts. “I am grateful for this amazing opportunity, the incredible determination of the club that brought me here, and that Fenerbahçe is the right place for me. It was only possible thanks to the touching words of a “special person” who convinced me that I am a Fenerbahçe fan. I am ready to give. To honour this trust, I have used the phrase “I will give everything for you, to make you proud, and to express how happy I am to be a Fenerbahçe fan!”
Reaction to Galatasaray and Trabzonspor fans
World-renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano announced on social media that Allan Saint-Maximin signed an agreement with Fenerbahçe on July 10. Galatasaray’s page commented on Fabrizio Romano’s post, “Fabri, the real logo is at the bottom.” Allan Saint-Maximin responded with a photo of Fenerbahçe’s five-star logo.
“I suggest you wear the five-star jersey on the field too, let’s see if you can,” Trabzonspor’s page wrote in response to the post, to which Maximin replied: “Cry, it will get better.”
