A statement from the Yellow-Red club said: “Images shared from the dressing room after the end of the match between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe on May 19, 2024, showed Fenerbahçe footballers, technical staff and other club personnel engaging in unsportsmanlike and violent chants.”
The statement included the following statement:
“The relevant images were shared live on the Instagram social media account by Fenerbahce footballer Jayden Quinn Oosterwolde, making the insults public. After examining the images, it was discovered that they were Fenerbahce footballers Serdar Dursun, Joshua King and Bright Osay-Samuel,” it said. Ferdi Kadıoğlu and other members of the Fenerbahce team also joined in the abusive chants. “After careful examination of the footage, it is clear that those who took part in this act have been identified by the Turkish Football Federation’s legal advice chamber. An application was submitted this morning by our club to refer them to the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee.”
