In an article today, Flash news site writer Bora Eldin said that Esigoltan Sigorta Asenterik Hizmetleri Company, owned by Süleyman Soylu and his son Engin Levent Soylu and established in 2021, has increased its capital by 4,900 percent in three years but has not paid taxes.
“There is no income, so there is no tax”
Soylu then posted a new post titled “Responding to slander, bad news for the detractors” in which he released the following statement:
“Our family has been in the insurance business for 30 years.
We have never had a single defective transaction with our customers or major insurance companies.
The aforementioned Esigoltan was founded in 2021 to provide digital (e-commerce) services.
He didn’t take any action until May 2021, 2022, or 2023. He just invested. Therefore, he doesn’t owe any tax because he doesn’t earn any income.
The digital platform will also be launched in 2024, excluding trials.
Investments in software, workforce training and infrastructure at Esigoltadan continued for three years.
Engin Sigorta and Esigoltan have a total of 60 employees.
Withholding tax and SSI payable in 2022 and 2023 is 11 million liras.
You can also check the taxes paid to Engin Sigorta on the same platform.
Maybe I can make it public…
