A fire of unknown origin broke out at a garbage dump near Aladag village in the district.
Smoke was noticed coming from the area and a team from the Çanakkale Regional Forestry Office was dispatched to the scene.

Two villages were evacuated
A statement from the Canakkale governor said the village of Aladağ in Kiremitva district had been evacuated as a precautionary measure due to the fire.
Following the village of Kiremitba, the village of Aradag was also evacuated.

The house burned down
In the villages of Kiremitba and Aladag in Ezine province, some houses and barns that had been evacuated due to fire fears were burned down.

Izmir / Bergama
A fire of unknown cause has broken out in a forest area in the Irgindere district of Bergama.
Four aircraft, four helicopters, 27 water tankers, eight water vehicles and six bulldozers belonging to the Izmir Regional Forestry Directorate were dispatched to the region.

The Regional Forestry Directorate said the first intervention in the fire, which broke out at 2 p.m., took place at 2:15 p.m.

Some houses and sheep sheds in areas close to the forest in Sarkalal district, where strong winds were pushing the flames closer, were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
It was learned that the military police had gathered local residents in the square until the danger had passed.

The fire broke out around 2:30 p.m. in farmland between the Demirler and Bademlik districts of Büyükorhan district.

Following the call, water tankers and fire brigades belonging to the regional forestry department were dispatched to the scene. Four helicopters and two planes began their aerial intervention as the fire spread through forested areas due to winds.
The fire spread to Büyükorhan district between Balikesir’s Dursunbey and Harmancuk districts.

The fire was contained within four hours. Cooling efforts continue in the area.

The fire, which broke out in forested areas of Elazig’s Maden district, was extinguished by air and land.
A fire of unknown cause broke out in a forest area between the villages of Gezin and Tepetik, and the blaze spread due to wind forces.
14 Following the notification, the Elazig Regional Forestry Directorate, the Special Provincial Agency, the Fire Brigade and the Gendarmerie were dispatched to the area.
The fire was put out using sprinklers, fire extinguishers and helicopters.

In a statement, Governor Elazig said the fire, which broke out in a forest area of unknown origin at around 10:15 a.m. in the Maden area of Gezin village in Kushluca district, moved towards the village of Tepechik due to extreme heat and wind.
The statement said the fire was under control and cooling efforts were continuing, adding:
“The fire was put out by a firefighting plane from Diyarbakir, five water tankers belonging to the Elazig Forestry Administration, a water truck, four first response vehicles, a sorting machine, a bulldozer, a fire engine and about 100 personnel.”
