The first TÜİK forecast data for crop production in 2024 has been released, with the cereals group expecting an average decrease of 5.4% compared to last year. Wheat production is forecast at 21 million tons, down 4.5% year-on-year.
Currently, the national grain harvest is about 5%.
Starting May 14, 2024, TMOs began accepting product submitted to provide storage facilities to producers. By closely monitoring the market from the start of harvest to date, it has been decided to announce TMO grain purchase prices and differential payment support as of today.
